Coverage

The mobile product of EZEE Mobile uses the Telstra Wholesale Mobile Network, with predicted coverage areas in all Australian major cities, most outer-metro areas and larger regional centres, as well as many smaller towns and transport corridors. Predicted coverage details are available at ezeemobile.com.au/coverage.

Switch Mobile Networks PTY LTD, trading as EZEE Mobile, uses parts of Telstra Wholesale’s 5G and 4G mobile networks to provide talk, text and data.
Factors that can affect your speeds and coverage:
  • The topography of your location (for example any obstructions of the line of sight to the base station such as trees and buildings);
  • Your distance from the base station;
  • The local weather conditions, such as extreme heat or heavy rain;
  • How many other users are accessing the mobile network from the base station at the same time;
  • Whether your device supports the relevant mobile network spectrum bands;
  • The hardware and software configuration on your device;
  • Any speed cap or other restriction applied to your plan; and
  • The destination of your internet browsing session (for example a busy web server).
From 28 October 2024, the 3G network was switched off. To connect to our mobile network, you’ll need a device compatible with 4G frequency Band 28 (700Mhz) and Voice over LTE (VoLTE) including VoLTE Emergency Calling.
Starting October 28th, 2024, Telstra will block mobile devices that can't make emergency calls (including to triple zero) over a 4G network. Once blocked, these devices won't be able to use voice or data services and will not be able to make emergency calls (including to triple zero). To reconnect to the network, the SIM must be removed and placed in a compatible device.
Please note: Older 3G handsets, as well as some newer 4G/5G handsets (including those purchased overseas or from a retailer selling imported phones), do not meet these standards.
We encourage you to check availability in your area prior to purchase. EZEE Mobile Australia does not offer refunds on credit purchased where the coverage map indicates a lack of coverage.
